Mifos – an Open Technology Platform
Mifos is a centralized web-based MIS purpose-built for the microfinance industry. Utilizing thin-client technology gives the entire organization real-time access to vital work processes and information. Management is delivered deep client insight through business analytics and social reporting, therefore increasing operational efficiencies and driving revenue generations through expanded products and reach. Our product is open source, offering an accessible and cost-effective solution that won’t lock an MFI in.
The Mifos platform is currently being used fully in production by 8 MFIs globally serving more than 450,000 clients. Mifos is also being deployed independently by members of our community and local support ecosystem at another fifteen MFIs worldwide.
